Open Text Files in Microsoft Excel

We can easily open text files in Microsoft Excel.

Following are the steps.

1- Open Microsoft Excel.
2- Open text file from Excel.
3- When you open text file following window will appear.

 

 

 

4- Select Fixed Width option and then press next.

 

5- Cut the column using following arrow or click the mouse button between the columns and then

click next.

 

 

 

6- Select the columns format and then click finish button.

 

 

7- When you click the finish button your data will convert into excel like this.

 

 

 

8- Once the data has been converted into excel. You will be able to apply different formats and functions on numeric and alpha values as provided in Excel.
